Assimilation and accommodation?

IS THIS RIGHT:

ASSIMILATION: applying pre-existing knowledge to a new situation.

ACCOMMODATION: changing an action in response to the environment.

|||Assimilation: The process by which a person takes material into their mind from the environment, which may mean changing the evidence of their senses to make it fit.

Accommodation: The difference made to one%26#039;s mind or concepts by the process of assimilation.

Note that assimilation and accommodation go together: you can%26#039;t have one without the other. |||vice versa

note, if you%26#039;re in middle school or elementary, you are fine. But if you%26#039;re in high school or college, I seriously doubt your brain capacity.
