If there was physical proof that God exists, would that change your beliefs or not?

Let%26#039;s not get all uppity about what I%26#039;m about to say about religion: It%26#039;s obviously based more on faith than on quantifiable proof. But for those of you who might be agnostic or atheist or of different beliefs, here%26#039;s a situation I pose to you.

Let%26#039;s say that there was somehow actual, physical proof that God exists %26amp; that he is the reason for the creation of life %26amp; our universe. How would that change your beliefs? Would it strengthen your religious beliefs? Or would you ignore this and go on with your life?|||First off I am not an Atheist, I%26#039;m Catholic, but in regards to your question they would probably question every aspect of God, since that is what science is all about. Personally I don%26#039;t need science to state evidence for or against my God since it would not strengthen or weaken my faith. This is my reason for God%26#039;s non-provable existence (you don%26#039;t have to agree with me). Given your example let%26#039;s say there is strong evidence for a God in the cosmos. Unless we could totally understand this God figure there will be room for different interpretations and misunderstandings that would probably lead to undesired consequences. Look at today%26#039;s view of God. There exist many interpretations of God in many religious and non-religious groups (Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, Atheism, etc). History has shown that these different interpretations have lead to violence, war, etc. As you can see slight interpretation usually leads to conflicts among humans. In order for people to have stronger beliefs in God, this physical proof would have to be something so apparent that all humans could comprehend it (something simple like the Sun is the bright object in the sky). So in regards to your question it would really depend on how visible this proof was and what possibility of misinterpretations exists.|||It would change my beliefs, but depending on the evidence I would likely remain uncertain as to which god it was, and therefore which, if any, religion is right.|||There is phsycal proof for believers|||Of course it would.

But there is none ... is there? There is zero evidence for god.|||Luke 16:31; %26#039;He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”|||I%26#039;m and athiest, but not stupid. Of course I would chanage my mind in the face of compelling evidence.|||But the existing proof shows that can and never will happen!!

Academia states that in the absence of proof of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable proof is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence.

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!!

At best he was an amalgam of those others!!

The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he was a pagan not god!!! He also organized Christianity into the Holly Roman Catholic Church!! Not in Israel or any of the countries of supposed origin but entirely ITALIAN!!

Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?

What a wonder full disinformation and deception campaign he waged against his Christian enemies - so good in fact that Christians are still following the deception to this day!!!

The first person to provide a shred of verifiable evidence for God will become world famous and mega rich!! Ain%26#039;t happened yet and it never will!!
