How do girls/women feel about a guys who are their friends yet want more than that?
I have a friend that likes me alot and i don't feel the same way and it makes me feel bad. I'm somewhat attracted/interested in all of my male friends, but this doesn't mean i would date them. I don't think i would want to hang out with a guy unless i was somewhat attracted/interested in them.
p.s. Anna J is right. We are flattered.

Sometimes I feel startled if I dont feel the same way and thrilled if I do. However, I lost a chance with a friend when I acted like I didn't care when he told me he liked me. Either way we feel flattered!
Very good question--I tend to flirt and if I find out that they want more than I do--I try to be honest in a nice way...I so do not want to lose them as a friend, but I want them to know where they stand with me.
No one can be lumped into a class.. each friendship is its own personality... So if you have a lady friend who is jealous of your friendship with another woman.. then include her into the friendship..
Good Luck
I have had many guys claim to be just friends but always seemed to hint that they we're interested in more. Since I'm married I ditch those guys right away. I have one guy friend and he is the only one who hasn't tried anything or hinted.
Women turn to shy away from the guy. They would immediately find a guy to date just to make the message clear to friend that they can only be friends. Having a guy friend its like you have another brother who will protect you from the cruel men out there. A guy friend really listens and you get a turn to really know of what they think of women.
I think this depends in large part on the two people you are talking about. I have a good male friend that I once told %26quot;If you ever want to take our friendship to a different level, let me know.%26quot; He's never let me know and we're still best of friends. When I've had surgery he's been by my side, he's stayed at my house to take care of me until I was well enough to take care of myself. He's had a couple of girlfriends...both very nice, and we've all been friends. If tomorrow he asked me to be his %26quot;girlfriend%26quot; I would accept gladly....if he never does, I still have a friend that's closer than a brother REALLY! The girl may just be waiting for you to state your feelings.
