Do you believe in the existence of parallel universes?

Many scientists believe in a multiverse (aka meta-universe, omniverse, alternate reality) which is made up of parallel universes. The theory is that there is an infinite number of realities based on the decisions we make and the lives we touch.

The idea has been examined in hundreds of sci-fi and fantasy novels, television, and movies. %26quot;It's a Wonderful Life%26quot; is basically a parallel universe in which George was never born. Then, there was %26quot;Back to the Future,%26quot; in which Marty changed his family's destiny by going back in time. Many novels explore %26quot;what-if%26quot; situations, such as what if Hitler won WW2.

But do they exist, and if so, will it ever be possible to travel from one to another? And if time travel eventually becomes possible, might it be possible for us to completely change the present by going into the past?

Do you believe in the existence of parallel universes?
No, why would there be? I don't see any reason to suppose they exist.
Do you believe in the existence of parallel universes?
Sure, why not?
I don't know, Quantum physics and all, ... but if they do exist...I'd like to live in a better one.

Thanks,

Jonnie
Heck no. That's one of the more ridiculous and stupid SCIENCE FICTION fantasys of the century! %26quot;What if%26quot; you were smart enough not to ask such a dumb question? And time travel is impossible now and is more science fiction. I hope the schools aren't making kids ask such weird and off the wall questions. That is not a learning environment.
Nobody really knows the answer. Some scientists have this assumption and are trying to prove it theoretically and mathematically. It sounds more like science fiction right now. Check out the updates on versions of string theory or superstring theory, where they have 10, 11 or more dimensions. This popular science claims that some things are explained by allowing more than 10 or 11 dimensions or multiple dimensions. Currently, science accepts that there are 4 dimensions - that's including time.

Check out these string theorist making this idea popular and maybe you can decide on your own.
suppose you are right, there is no way we could ever travel to one, they are just there serving the universes purpose for humanity, i think it is possible to visit them for a short period, projecting your soul there for a few minutes but only very few get to expereince it
